Seeking PhD opportunities for Fall 2027
I am an M.A. student in Communication at Renmin University of China. My research examines how people evaluate and respond to mediated information, with particular interests in misinformation correction, human-AI communication, health communication, and social support.
My previous work focused on misinformation correction and fact-checking, particularly source effects and message design. For source effects, I compared how human, AI, and hybrid sources influence audiences’ information processing and, in turn, their judgments of and attitudes toward fact-checking. For message design, I examined different fact-checking strategies and article structures, investigating how they shape audiences’ cognition, memory, beliefs, and sharing intentions.
My work has been published in the International Journal of Human–Computer Interaction and News and Writing (in Chinese). My research has been presented at the annual conferences of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) and the International Communication Association (ICA), as well as at the International Conference on Chinese-Language Media and Huaxia Civilisations and the Annual Conference of the Health Communication Committee of the Chinese Association for History of Journalism and Communication.
Outside academic work, I enjoy photography, tennis, and cycling.
